With great sadness, the MMLA Board of Directors extends heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Captain Nicholas Losapio, a highly accomplished Marine Pilot who was tragically lost in a training accident last month. The Losapio family has long been an integral part of our lake community, with Nick spending many summers here forging strong bonds with friends and neighbors on the East End and around the lake.
The Governor’s office has proclaimed that flags may be flown at half staffin honor of Nick on Saturday, 7/9 – the day his family, friends and military family gather at Lion’s Camp Pride for his celebration of life.. We encourage all lake residents to honor Nick’s life and service to our country with this act of respect and appreciation.
