It is extremely important that you read The Baysider each week. You can get the entire paper online every Wednesday evening. The website is www.newhampshirelakesandmountains.com. Scroll to the first paper on the left. I also urge you to get the DVDs of the meeting at the town hall or watch it on access TV if you winter in New Durham. Selectman Jarvis won by only 30 votes last year and both she and Selectman Bickford have created havoc the entire year with "emergency" meetings when both Ron Gehl and April Whittaker were known to be out of town and by stating they are being fiscally responsible to lay off the town administrator when that is far from the truth. Their attitude towards our top rated fire department has been shameful. Their personal agendas are still not completely known. You are the taxpayers that keep this town running. Even if you don't vote, use that power with letters to the editor and to the town hall. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for keeping us up to date, will certainly check it out each week.
Only wish I could vote... I sure do pay enough for the privilege but yet it is not granted as I reside (mostly) in Mass. Reminds me of the Tea Party we had down here not all that long ago; taxation without representation.
