Default Metrocast Digital Phone?

Now that Union Telephone has been sold, I understand that the restriction on others offering telephone services in the area has been lifted.

Is Metrocast now offering digital phone as part of their cable packages in New Durham? If so, has anyone switched yet?

Default Metrocast

It is my understanding they have the contract to start offering the service however they do not have the final approval of "checking all lines" and therefore will not yet initiate service. I am a new owner on the lake and have the cable and internet service and am on their "call list" once the phone lines are cleared. I would imagine that non-customers could also be put on the list to be notified as well?
